Trevor Hoag, Ph.D. is a former professor of English and philosophy who is exploring a new career by writing and reporting for The Iola Register, where his favorite stories involve outdoor adventures involving the history of Woodson and Allen Counties. His book, Occupying Memory, is in libraries around the world. In his free time, he loves volunteering for local nonprofits, abstract painting and playing hard-rock guitar.
