Chely Wright, a Nashville recording artist, opened the 106th Allen County Fair Saturday night in Riverside Park before one of the largest crowds ever at a fair country music show. As one of her openers, Iolas Tasia Cooper-Murphy teamed up with Texan Jeffrey Alan to do country western numbers. Cooper-Murphy recently made her first country western CD. She is better known to Iolans as teacher-manager of the South Street Dance Co.
