Save yourself the hassle of cooking Sunday and help contribute to Iola’s Community Utility Relief Board (CURB) at the same time. Iola’s Pizza Hut will donate 20% of all purchases on Sunday, Sept. 21 to CURB, which provides emergency utility bill payments to needy families. A flyer must be presented for CURB to benefit; stop by Iola City Hall to pick one up.
Residents can also contribute to the fund by rounding up their monthly utility bill or with a donation. Contact the Iola City Utility Office at (620) 365-4910 or stop by the office at 2 W. Jackson Ave. to enroll.
