Iola’s Grace Lutheran Church will host a service Tuesday evening to commemorate slain political activist Charles Kirk.
The 7 p.m. event will include an hour of prayer, following the order of Vespers “to pray for peace in a time of violence, and to confess the hope of Christ Jesus.”
An offering will be collected, with proceeds benefitting the Allen County Food Pantry.
Kirk, 31, founder of Turning Point USA, was killed Sept. 10 while appearing at an event at a Utah university.
