Allen Community College honored Thursday five long-time employees who are retiring with the recently concluded school year.
Honored were Russ Ryman, who has worked in the maintenance department for 36 years, Terry Powelson, 35-year agriculture instructor, Sharon Lawless, a 25-year computer science instructor, Bruce Symes, a 17-year employee and director of tutoring and Mike Decker, a maintenance technician for 11 years.
