The Iola Area Chamber of Commerce will offer a wind turbine tour through northern Allen County.
The “Fearless Fred” trolley will tote passengers to see the wind turbines comprising the Prairie Queen Wind Farm from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 12.
Tickets cost $15 apiece and must be purchased in advance, to ensure there are enough passengers to justify the tour.
Tickets can be purchased either at the Chamber office at 10 W. Jackson Ave., or by calling (620) 365-5252. Passengers also can mail checks to Donna Houser at 120 W. Garfield St. in Iola.
