Steve and Cindy Strickler, Iola, announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Kayleigh Ann, to Robert Earl Vaughn, son of Eddie and Fannell Vaughn, Humble, Texas.
The bride-elect is a 2006 graduate of Iola High School. She will graduate in December from Kansas State University with a dual degree in kinesiology and nutrition. She is employed by the Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Center at KSU.
The groom-to-be is a 2005 graduate of Humble High School. He is majoring in mechanical engineering at KSU. He is employed as a student assistant coach for the KSU baseball team.
The couple are planning an Oct. 23 wedding at Grace Baptist Church in Manhattan.
