MORAN Marmaton Valley USD 256 will receive a $2,500 grant, courtesy of area farmer Jim Armstrong.
The donation was made possible through the Americas Farmers Grow Communities program, sponsored by the Bayer Fund.
Celebrating its 10th year, Americas Farmers Grow Communities partners with farmers to support nonprofit organizations.
Grant funds will go toward the Marmaton Valley FFA, science, math and music programs, according to a press release announcing the grant.
Since its inception, the program has led to more than $33 million in donations to 8,000 nonprofits across the country.
