Klaira Gayle Hayes, 7, is pleased to announce the birth of her little brother, River Glenn Watkins.
River was born Feb. 21, 2016, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital. He weighed 7 pounds, 9 ounces, and was 21 inches long.
His proud parents are Jared and Mallory Michelle Watkins, Lawrence. Maternal grandparents are Michael Blaine and Mona Susan Melvin, Iola, and Osa Lenore Melvin Howard, Williamsburg, and the late Master Sgt. Ernest Ned Melvin. Paternal grandparents are Jana Watkins, Kansas City, and the late Lucien Watkins.
