Aubrey Danielle Creitz and Tyler James Westhoff, Erie, announce their engagement and pending marriage.
The pair will be married Aug. 6, 2016, at Wesley United Methodist Church in Parsons.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Dan and Shaila Creitz, Erie, and the granddaughter of Dan and Jeanne Creitz, Iola, and June Marcy, Valley Center, and the late Dale Marcy.
She is a 2009 Erie High School graduate, and graduated from Pittsburg State University in December 2013, with a degree in elementary education and a minor in middle school mathematics.
She is a fifth-grade teacher at Iola Middle School.
The groom-to-be is the son of Randy and Lorie Westhoff, Erie, and the grandson of Arnold and Nancy Ward, St. Paul, the late James Westhoff, Evelyn Hess, Humboldt, and the late Elmer Hess.
He is a 2010 Erie High School graduate. He graduated from Pittsburg State University in May 2013 with an electrician degree. He is a rancher for RDJ Farms in Stark.
