Shannon Fletcher and Matthew Zoglmann were united in marriage Saturday, May 6, 2017, at Iola’s First Baptist Church, with Pastor Alan Barus Jr. officiating.
The bride is the daughter of J.T. and Candy Fletcher and Nancy Hilt and is the granddaughter of Val and Alta Lee, who were honored guests at the wedding.
Parents of the groom are Tom and Dawn Zoglmann.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a princess style all-over lace gown, featuring a sweetheart neckline covered by a sheer lace off-the-shoulder bodice, a satin sash embellished with rhinestones at the front, and covered buttons down the back of the gown.
The full skirt was edged in a lace flounce and flowed into a chapel-length train that lifted to a bustle for dancing.
Her fingertip-length veil of imported illusion was edged in lace that matched her gown. She wore a rhinestone bracelet and earrings and carried a clutch bouquet of Kansas sunflowers, baby’s breath and greenery.
The bride was attended by her sister, Jenna Fletcher Sprague, as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Kelli Campbell Frazell, Ean Loffswold Nicaise, Rachel Zoglmann and Kelsey Parks. All of the bridal attendants wore different styles of dresses in all-over lavender lace, and they carried bouquets similar to the bridal bouquet. The flower girl was Layla Grace Nicaise.
The best man was Chad Zoglmann. Groomsmen were Phil Rush, Justin Zoglmann, Nathan Koester and Brandon Zoglmann. Caleb Zoglmann was the ring-bearer.
Vocalist for the wedding was Marielle Maureen Melvin, who was accompanied on the piano by Kelly Mardis Baker.
Ushers weere Jeremy Zoglmann, Ryan Zoglmann, Justin Sprague and Clinton Fletcher. Tamara Raney and Katie Ybarra were the guestbook attendants.
Following the ceremony at the church, a wedding reception, buffet dinner and dance were held at Miller’s On Madison.
The reception designer was Misty Pauly, and the bridal announcer was Sam Sprague. The bride’s personal attendant was Heather Harrington.
