The City of Gas is Hiring!

The City of Gas is seeking highly motivated applicants for the full-time position of City Maintenance Worker.

Duties include but are not limited to; repair and maintenance of water and sewer lines; wastewater collection sites; maintaining city streets, groundskeeping of the cemetery, park, and all city owned property.

A high school diploma or equivalent, valid KS driver’s license, pre-employment drug screening, and background check is required. 

Preferred qualifications include:
KDHE Small Systems Water Certification
KDHE Class 1 Wastewater Certification
Commercial Class B CDL

Employee will be required to obtain all certifications within 18 months of employment.  Wage is dependent upon experience and qualifications.
