An Indian summer helped draw a huge crowd to Humboldt Saturday for the 60th annual Biblesta Parade and related activities. Colin Long in the Iola Middle School Band carried a double brace of drums along the parade route. The Chanute Christian Academy, “celebrating 30 years of Christian education,” was represented, as was Evangelical Covenant Church, Savonburg, with its tower of God, from Proverbs 18:10, “The name of the Lord is a strong tower, run to him — be safe.”
