Ottawa City Clerk and Summa Cum Laude graduate of Ottawa University Amy Lynn Finch has been awarded the Kansas Association of City/ County Management Rising Star Scholarship.
She is one of three statewide to receive the scholarship.
Finch was honored at the annual KACM luncheon in Lawrence recently, and will utilize the scholarship to earn a masters degree in city and county ad-ministration and management from Wichita State University.
She has three children, Alex, 18, Austin, 14, and Charlie, 10. Shes the daughter of Chuck and Michelle Percy Johnson, Ottawa, and the granddaughter of Jeanne Ann Percy, Iola, and the late Glenn Percy.
