When Iolans headed to work Friday morning, they did so with temperature clocking in at -9.
Fast forward to Monday afternoon, when the mercury soared to 70, according to the city’s official weather observation station.
That’s a 79-degree difference in about 80 hours.
Temps are expected to be in the 50s and 60s into next week.
