HUMBOLDT — The Humboldt Historical Society Museum’s revival of the Orcutt Backyard Museum took another step forward Monday morning.
A half dozen board members spent about three hours transferring antiques, large and small, from the old Humboldt Union building downtown to a new addition at the HHS’s complex in the 300 block of North Second Street.
The private museum, the brainchild of Harvey and Velma Orcutt, was opened decades ago behind the Orcutt’s home at 1412 Bridge St.
