Iola’s downtown will get an extra festive feel for Halloween, with decorations donated by friends of the late Steve and Cecelia Orcutt on display. Steve Orcutt died Oct. 19; Cecelia died in May.

Both were long-time art teachers for USD 257, and opened their home for trick-or-treaters every Halloween, often greeting the youngsters with elaborate decor.

The decorations will be replaced the weekend of Nov. 8, when Chelsea Lea will spearhead another Christmas light decoration effort.
