Trolley rides to see the towns Christmas lights are Saturday night.
The rides aboard Fearless Fred begin at 6 p.m. and depart from the new parking lot at the Bowlus Fine Arts Center on the east. Riders are asked to arrive about 10 minutes before departure.
Tickets are $10 apiece, and must be paid in advance at the Iola Area Chamber of Commerce, now in the lower level of the Bowlus. The Chambers hours are from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. through Friday, and can be reached by calling 365-5252.
To get to the Chamber office, enter through the new east doors, then proceed to the lower level via stairs or elevator.
Organizers said that if demand is sufficient, a second trolley tour will begin at roughly 7:30 Saturday night.
Conversely, if theres not enough demand for tickets, the rides will be scrubbed.
The trolley holds up to 31 passengers. With balmy weather predicted, it should be a beautiful night out on the town.
