While both Republicans and Democrats have a number of choices in statewide races Tuesday, theres only one local contested election in Allen County.
Republicans living in Allen Countys Third District will choose between John Brocker and Bruce Symes for the Republican nomination for the Allen County Commission. Brocker has held the seat since being appointed by Republican precinct members in March following the resignation of former commissioner Jim Talkington.
The winner advances to face Democrat Steven Henderson in the Nov. 6 General Election.
The Third District includes much of Iola and parts south.
