Iolans can sound off through an online survey on their views about the city’s parks system.
The survey has been prepared by Vision Iola, which is looking at potential improvements in the city’s downtown business district, its signage, and now, the city’s parks and trails system, including sidewalks.
The survey asks whether Iolans are satisfied with the city’s existing parks and facilities, as well as how often those facilities are used and for what purposes.
The survey also gauges interest in developing empty lots vacated from the 2007 flood.
Parks and trails will be discussed further at the next Vision Iola meeting May 6.
