The Rev. Kenyon Kaehr, pastor at Iolas First Christian Church, will deliver the keynote address at Mondays Memorial Day service in Iola.
The 11 a.m. ceremony will be at Highland Cemetery, weather permitting.
Otherwise, the ceremony will move to the John Silas Bass North Community Building in the 500 block of North Buckeye Street.
The Iola Municipal Band will perform, and wreaths will be laid out to honor the nations war dead.
The public is invited.
