Amanda E. Wolford, 87, of Iola died Friday, Feb. 5, 2010, at Windsor Place Nursing Center in Iola.
She was born March 9, 1922, in Potosi, Mo., the daughter of Elmer and Edna (Dowell) Huskey.
On June 11, 1939, she married June Wolford in Girard. They made their home on a farm south of Gas. He died June 22, 1993. In 1998, she moved to Iola.
She was a member of First Assembly of God Church in Iola.
She is survived by two daughters, Glenda Aikins and her husband, Steve, Altamont and Gail Wolford, Iola; a brother, Curtis Huskey, Salem, Ore.; three grandchildren, Pamela Randol, Ryan Aikins and Amanda Collins; and five great-grandchildren.
An infant daughter, Audrey, a daughter, Judy Thomas, a grandson, Steve Aikins Jr., four brothers and three sisters, died earlier.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at First Assembly of God Church in Iola. The Rev. Jason Pickering will officiate. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery in Iola.
