Arron Lee Oswalt, 44, of Iola, died Saturday, April 30, 2016, at Overland Park Regional Medical Center.
Arron was born April 14, 1972, in Iola, the son of Danny Lee and Golda Marie (Fletcher) Oswalt. He grew up in Iola, graduating from Iola High School in 1990. He has worked at the Iola Sonic Drive-In.
Survivors include one daughter, Lena Michelle Howington, Iola, and three grandchildren; his father, Danny Lee Oswalt, Iola; step-father, Bill Colles, Paola; four siblings, April Colborn, LaHarpe, Michael Colles, Las Vegas, N.V., Jenny Altis, Vassar, and Sean Colles, Kansas City, Kan., and his grandmother, Velary Iden, Iola. He was preceded in death by his mother, Golda Marie Colles.
Cremation has taken place. Memorial visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the Waugh-Yokum & Friskel Chapel in Iola. Memorials are suggested to Tri-Valley Developmental Center and may be left with the funeral home. To leave a condolence online, go to www.iolafuneral.com.
