Carolyn Joyce (Shepard) Moore, age 78, of Humboldt, Kansas, passed away on Monday, Nov. 17, 2025, at St. Luke’s on the Plaza in Kansas City, Missouri. Carolyn was born on June 7, 1947, in St. Paul, Kansas, the daughter of Arthur Shepard and Eva Mae (Powell) Shepard.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Moore; and siblings, Verlin Shepard, Delbert Shepard, Phyllis “Jeanie” Madl, and Chauncey Shepard.
Carolyn is survived by daughters, Shannon Moore and wife Shelley Stuber of Humboldt, and Courtney and husband Jason Bauer of Iola; and sister, Artie Lewis.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, Nov. 24, at Humboldt United Methodist Church. The family will greet friends and family from 3 to 5 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 23, in The Venue at Feuerborn Family Funeral Service, 1883 HWY 54, Iola.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Ron Moore Memorial Fund, and left in the care of Feuerborn Family Funeral Service.
