Edward J. OConnor, age 72, of Iola, died Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2019, at his residence.
He was born Nov. 22, 1946, in Hutchinson, to Edward J. O’Connor and Martha (Kidson) OConnor.
He married Sue Roath Aug. 10, 1968, in Lawrence.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his son, Kevin Edward OConnor.
Survivors include his wife, Sue, of the home; two daughters, Katharine Shepard, Yates Center, and Martha DeGrado, Iola; and other relatives.
A funeral service will be at 11 a.m., Thursday at Saint Timothys Episcopal Church, 202 S. Walnut St., Iola. Burial will follow in Highland Cemetery, Iola.
