Gary Ray Reeder, 52, of Iola died Friday, April 9, 2010, at Allen County Hospital in Iola.
He was born April 22, 1957, in Iola, the son of Ralph James and Wilma Nadine (Boese) Reeder Jr. He attended school in Iola. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps.
He worked in the oil fields until moving to Wichita where he worked as a bounty hunter for a bonding company. He returned to the Iola area in 1997 and did farm work until ill health forced his retirement.
On June 3, 1983, he married Christina Frazier.
He is survived by his wife of the home; three sons, Gary II, Iola, Mathew, Humboldt, and Benjamin, Iola; a daughter, Marjorie Reeder, Iola; two sisters, Shelly McMurray and Greta Hansell, both of Iola; and two grandchildren, Patrick and Lilli.
Three brothers, Jim, Aric and Rich, and a sister, Robin, died earlier.
Cremation has taken place.
