Kenneth Culbertson of rural Iola, whose death on Wednesday and services and memorials were published in Thursday’s Register, was born on Dec. 5, 1921, in Iola, the son of George W. and Ida Ethel (Geddes) Culbertson. He attended Onion Creek School and Iola High School.
He was a farmer where he raised cattle and worked in the field, enjoyed fishing and traveling. He was a member of Salem Calvary United Methodist Church in Iola.
Kenneth is survived by his brother, Vincent, Iola; and several nephews and a niece.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Velma Barnett, and one brother, Eugene.
