Isabella Cecilia Cooper, 1-year-old daughter of Edwin J. and Juliette R. (Sibley) Cooper was born Dec. 8, 2010, in Sioux City, Iowa. She died on Friday, Dec. 9, 2011, at Mercy Medical Center in Sioux City.
Survivors include her parents, Edwin and Juliette Cooper; a sister, Dorthea Josephine Cooper; paternal grandparents, Lanny and Cyrilla Cooper, Chanute; maternal grandmother, Sherrie Kennison, Emporia; great-grandmother, Lana and Phillip Poe, Emporia; great-grandfather, Richard Kennison, Emporia; three uncles, Anthony Cooper and Justin and Travis Doolittle; three aunts, Paulyanne (Keith) Peuker, Ashley Shoults and Rebecca (Jeremy) Frye; two cousins, Lorene Peuker and Gabe Shoults; and many great-uncles, great-aunts and cousins.
Mass of Christian burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Chanute. The Rev. Bernie Gorges will officiate. Burial will be in Vilas Cemetery, rural Chanute.
Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Friday at St. Patrick’s Church followed by visitation in the Parish Center.
