Jerome T. Smith, 82, died Thursday, May 1, 2014, in Wichita. Born Aug. 27, 1932, he was the son of Albert and Mary Smith of Iola.
He was a graduate of Iola High School, served in the Korean War, and was a retired state employee.
He is survived by his sons, Mark, Wichita, and Leo, Lawrence; grandson Aden, Lawrence; a twin brother, Joe, Arizona; and a brother, Bernard, Texas.
