Kenneth E. Pribbernow, 87, died Tuesday, April 12, 2011, at Brookside Manor in Overbrook.
He was born Jan. 9, 1924, in his rural Piqua farm home to William (Bill) and Blanch Sloan Pribbernow. He attended grade school at Owl Creek, a one-room school house two miles from his home.
He raised bucket calves and assisted his parents with the many chores on a farm. He liked to attend the weekly cattle auctions at Iola and socialize with other farmers. A shiny red Ford pickup was his pride and joy to drive.
He is survived by two sisters, Arlene Duensing, Lee’s Summit, Mo., and Wilma Ednie, Coeur D’alene, Idaho.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Carl.
Pribbernow was cremated.
Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery in Humboldt. Memorial services will be at a later date at Brookside Manor.
