Larry Dean Snodgrass, 63, passed away on Friday, April 28, 2017, at St John Medical Center in Tulsa. Larry was born in Iola on July 5, 1953, to Dale D. and Louann (Stoddard) Snodgrass. He graduated from Iola High School with the class of 1971.
On June 5, 1981, Larry married JoEtta Archer, and they made their home in Skiatook, Okla. Larry loved hunting and fishing, and he enjoyed woodworking in his shop. Most recently, Larry was employed as a contract driver trainer for Schlumberger in Tulsa.
Survivors include wife, JoEtta; son Matthew Dean Snodgrass (Teri); sister Deanna Neuner (Charles); nephew Geoff Deman (Ashley Tippin); father-in-law Jimmy Archer (Lucille); and many other relatives and friends. Larry was preceded in death by his father and mother.
A Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. Thursday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Skiatook. Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the church, followed by interment in the Osage Gardens cemetery, under the direction of Sien-Shelton Funeral Home, Skiatook (www.siensheltonfh.com).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a special remembrance honoring Larry or donations to the charity of the donor’s choice.
