George Leonard Vest Jr. died March 19, 2018, at Via Christi Hospital in Pittsburg.
He was born in Iola at Allen County Hospital to George Sr. and Karl Ann Vest on June 3, 1960.
Survivors include two brothers, Wendell and Kenneth; five sisters, Ruth Seeber, Sandra White, Amy Ludlum, Leona McNeil and Jodie Alexander; three daughters, Jamie Hermreck, Amanda Howell and Jodi Owens; spouse Jan Owens; four granddaughters and three grandsons.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Cecelia Shears.
There will be a celebration of life at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 9, at LaHarpe ballpark.
