Michael Rawn Davis Sr. passed away Sunday, Feb. 8, 2015, at Neosho Memorial Regional Medical Center, Chanute, after a long battle with cancer. He was 53.
He was born Dec. 13, 1961, to Floyd Duane and Betty M. (Vest) Davis, in Wichita.
He married the love of his life, Linda Davis, Aug. 29, 1987, in Wichita. He traveled the country and worked as a plumber and construction worker most of his life, and settled in Howard in 1992. In 2006 they returned to Wichita and moved to Humboldt in 2012, calling it his home. He will be loved and missed greatly as he touched many lives in such a great way.
He is survived by Linda Davis, of the home; his children, Joshua M. Davis, Howard, Heather Davis, Iola, Jordan Bonk, Florida, Emily Zimble, California, and Michael R. Davis Jr., Chanute; his mother, Betty M. Davis, Humboldt; and a brother, Scott Davis, Wichita.
He was preceded in death by his father, Floyd, and a brother, Kirk Davis.
Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Feb. 21 at the Restoration Fellowship Church, 709 Bridge St., Humboldt.
Memorials are suggested to the Davis family for expenses, and may be left in care of the Restoration Fellowship Church.
