Ruth Irma Pees who died Monday, Oct. 21, 2013, was the daughter of Blaine and Elsie Duncan.
She was born March 2, 1920, in Lane.
She married Dr. Gerald Pees Sr. Oct. 10, 1943. He preceded her in death on Jan. 30, 1996. A daughter, Barbara Pees Guth, also preceded her in death Oct. 26, 2008.
She leaves two children, Dr. Gerald B. Pees, Jr. Lawrence, Chrystine Churas, Mebane, N.C.; one brother David Duncan, Lee’s Summit, Mo.; and seven grandchildren.
No memorial services are planned. Cremation is planned. A private burial is planned for the Quaker Cemetery, Lane.
