Sandra Kay (Samm) Mintz, 67, Humboldt, Kan., passed away Saturday, May 9, 2026, at Diversicare of Chanute.
Sandy was born June 20, 1958, in Iola, to Bernard Myer and Jean (Hendrix) Myer.
Sandy and Craig Mintz were married June 26, 1976, in Humboldt. Sandy worked from 1981 to 2017 as a secretary for the Humboldt School District.
Her husband survives, as do two sons, Justin (Virginia) Mintz and Ryan (Kelli) Mintz.
The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, May 17, in The Venue at Feuerborn Family Funeral Service, Iola. A funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, May 18, at the funeral home. A private family inurnment will be at a later date in Mount Hope Cemetery, Humboldt.
Memorials are suggested to the Alzheimer’s Association, and may be left with the funeral home.
