NEODESHA — It was another banner day Thursday for Humboldt High’s senior sprinters.
Trevion Franklin won the gold medal in the boys’ 100-meter dash, while taking second in the 200-meter dash at the Tri-Valley League Meet.
For the girls, Humboldt’s Karingten Hall earned the win in the 200, while finishing a close third in the 100.
Carson Peters, meanwhile, brought home Humboldt’s third gold of the day, by topping all comers in the boys discus.
Franklin added to his medal haul with a second-place finish in the 400-meter dash, while Carlie Weilert took second in the girls javelin. Humboldt’s girls’ 4×100-meter relay team of Addisyn Drake, Hall, Anna Heisler and Jordan Hencey took second as well.
Heisler added a silver medal in the 3200, as did Laney Hull in the 300-meter hurdles.
