High School Baseball: Humboldt Baseball

The Humboldt baseball and softball teams hosted their annual tournaments on Friday. The Cub baseball team opened the day’s festivities with a 13-3, five-inning win over Central Heights. Left, senior Lance Daniels crosses home plate on a wild pitch and, above, sophomore Taylor Lassman fouls off a Central Heights pitch in the last at-bat of the game. Lassman eventually singled to right field to bring home the final run of the game. Look for a recap of the tournament in next week’s Register.
