Humboldt golf got in two meets early this week.
The Cubs started the week on Monday at Erie before competing at Pittsburg on Tuesday.
At Erie, Ryan Sellman led the way with an 82 which was good for fifth place.
Reid Smith had a 99 which was the first time that he had broken 100 and Drake Hottenstein had a 102.
At Pittsburg, Sellman nearly fought his way to the top. He shot a 79 which was just a stroke off of first place.
Even though Ryan was only three strokes better than Monday, he played extremely better, head coach Scott Brady said after the meet. It was a much tougher course and he played a really solid round today.
The Cubs will hit the course again on Tuesday at Fredonia.
