MORAN — Southern Coffey County High’s Lady Titans were unable Friday to replicate their magic from earlier in the week.

On Tuesday, SCC advanced past Marmaton Valley on a dramatic buzzer-beater in their Class 1A regional playoff match. On Friday, top seed St. Paul eliminated any doubt from the start.

The Indians blasted their way to a 24-3 lead and never looked back in a 49-18 romp.

The loss ends SCC’s season with a 7-14 mark.

St. Paul’s lead stood at 38-8 at halftime  and 47-14 after three quarters.

Bryli Copeland led the Lady Titans with eight points. Josie Weers chipped in with five.

Jose Harris and Katie Coomes scored nine apiece for St. Paul, which went on to win the regional crown one night later, 49-24, over Chetopa.
