Kaleb Stroud to play in 8-man all-star game

BELOIT — Kaleb Stroud, Moran, caps his senior year at Marmaton Valley High School with one more football game.

Stroud plays in the Kansas Eight-Man Division I All-Star football game Saturday in Beloit.  Stroud is a 5-10, 220-pound offensive lineman.

The 27th Annual Kansas Eight-man All-Star Football games are played back-to-back at Beloit’s Trojan Stadium.  The Division I game is at 10 a.m. with player introductions at 9:30 a.m.

The Division II game is at 1 p.m.

Stroud, a 2012 MVHS graduate, is on the Division I East squad. He will be wearing the MVHS Wildcat black helmet during the game.

Stroud was the Three Rivers League All-League kicker and earned state honorable mention honors. Marmaton Valley was the TRL champion and advanced through the Kansas Division I playoffs to the regional level.

His parents are Rob and Angela Stroud of Moran. Stroug plans to attend North Central Kansas Technical College in Beloit.
