EUREKA — Humboldt senior Savannah Koch, 190 lbs., (19-14) and junior Willow LaCrone, 115 lbs., (21-6) wrapped up the regular season as Tri-Valley League champions at Eureka Thursday.
With the regional tournament slated for next weekend, LaCrone, Koch and three other Lady Cubs will enter with TVL Championship medals.
LaCrone won a three-woman round robin with a first-period pin of Fredonia freshman Mary Smith (2-10), then won due to a mid-match medical forfeit by Neodesha freshman Addalyn Hasler (10-6).
Koch won the 190 lbs. TVL title after besting Neodesha (22-8) by first period pin, then fell to Eureka senior Hunter Olsen (5-5) by first-period pin. freshman Annalee Winters (9-10) twice by first-period pin. 
Senior Victoria Melendez (18-11) took third place in the 100 lbs. weight class. She opened with a third-period pin of Bluestem freshman Delanie Scott (10-12), but fell to Neodesha junior Maely Pipkin (12-6) by first-period pin. She wrapped up the tournament with a 6-3 victory over Scott.
In the 140 lbs. weight class, freshman Hope Thompson (3-12) picked up a win to secure fourth place.
While competing in a four-woman round-robin, Brylee Napier opened with a loss first-period pin to Neodesha freshman Kaylie Novotny (13-6), then fell by 17-1 technical fall to eventual tournament champion Mersayde Stout (23-7), a Caney Valley freshman. Napier ended the tournament on a high note with a second-period pin of Fredonia freshman Laney Robey (0-3) for third place.
