HUMBOLDT — Humboldt High’s Lady Cubs didn’t let the sting of a tough loss linger Friday.

Humboldt saw Central Heights pull away with four runs in the sixth and five in the seventh to nab a 15-6 victory in the first round of the Lindsey Friederich Memorial Tournament.

Undaunted, Humboldt responded with a wallop against Neodesha later in the afternoon.
