HUMBOLDT — The Humboldt Lady Cubs remain undefeated in Tri-Valley League play despite splitting Tuesday’s triangular with a win over Cherryvale but a loss to non-league foe Baxter Springs.
Humboldt fell in the opener to Baxter Springs after the Lady Lions took the first set 25-18.
The Lady Cubs roared back to take the second set 25-2, but could not respond with as much vigor in the third, losing 25-8.
