PARSONS — Iola High’s Fillies and Parsons High’s Lady Vikings came into Friday’s game with the same record — 6-7 overall and 0-1 in Southeast Kansas League play.
The SEK game Friday was tied 26-26 after three quarters. The contest was knotted up at 37-37 with 40 seconds to play.
With Parsons working for a final shot, Iola’s Kelsey Larson swiped the basketball and scored on a layup with five seconds. But the Lady Vikings used two timeouts in the final 4.4 seconds to move the ball down.
