The Marmaton Valley volleyball team competed in its second tournament of the season on Tuesday.
The Lady Wildcats (4-3) traveled to Hartford and went 2-1 to beat the host and Crest in two sets while falling in two sets to Madison.
In the opening match, Marmaton Valley rode a very impressive performance from Bailey Griffth who scored 16 points in their 2-0 (25-22, 25-9) win over Hartford. Trinitee Guiterrez also pitched in seven kills.
In their second match, the Lady Wildcats fell 2-0 (25-17, 25-15) to Madison. Griffith and Megan Ensminger pitched in three kills apiece.…
