After struggling at home versus two ranked Olpe teams last Tuesday, the Crest Lancers rebounded and got wins over Oswego at home on Friday.
The Lancer boys are now 6-10 and 4-4 in Three Rivers League play while the Lady Lancers moved to 7-9 and 5-3 in league play.
The girls won 44-31 but no other stats were available.
The Crest boys won big, 68-30.
The Lancers led 21-4 after the first quarter and 39-18 at the half. Crest outscored Oswego 19-10 in the third quarter and 10-2 in the fourth to complete the 38-point win.
“We played with pretty good effort tonight,” head coach Travis Hermreck said. “Oswego had a tough night shooting the ball, and we did a good job rebounding and getting out in transition. We needed a win like this coming off of Tuesday’s blowout loss to Olpe.”
Junior Hayden Hermreck led the way with 22 points followed right behind by senior Caleb Stephens who had 20 points. Freshman Kobey Miller had 14 points and senior Austin Hendrix had 10.
The Lancers will travel to Southeast-Cherokee today.
