Marmaton Valley senior pitcher Tyler Lord will take his talents to Central Christian College, McPherson, after accepting a scholarship offer last week.

Lord has been a terror in multiple sports in the Three Rivers League during his high school career. Lord made the All-TRL teams in baseball, basketball and football.

He’ll step up to the NAIA program next season for the Tigers.

Trading his MVHS black and orange for Central Christian’s blue and gold, Lord will likely take the mound one last time as Marmaton Valley’s starter in the regional tournament opener against Eureka (4-15) of the Tri-Valley League.
