On the final day of March, the rain and cold weather won out over most of the high school and junior college spring sports Thursday.
Iola High’s softball and baseball doubleheaders at home against Coffeyville were moved from Thursday to this afternoon. The games begin at 4:30 at Riverside Park.
Humboldt High’s softball and baseball games at Erie were postponed. No make-up date has been set.
Uniontown High’s softball and baseball games at home against St. Paul were moved to May 2.
Iola High’s Mustangs were to have played tennis at Coffeyville but that was switched to April 19.
Allen County Community College’s softball doubleheader at Neosho County already postponed once was again. Now it is Thursday in Chanute.
Iola High’s golf team did compete at Independence.
