Despite suffering through tough seasons, Yates Center sophomore Cayten Cummings, as well as Crest junior Kaelin Nilges and Crest senior Delaney Ramsey made the All-Three Rivers League Team.

Ramsey and Nilges gave a bit of hope to the 1-21 Lady Lancers. Nilges ended the season with a .492 batting average with a team-leading 30 hits, including four doubles, two triples and a homer. Nilges also served alongside junior Kinley Edgerton as Crest’s 1-2 punch on the mound. Ramsey was an All-TRL honorable mention with 29 hits, nine doubles and 16 RBIs.

Cummings, who was recently named the April Allen County Area Athlete of the Month, received All-TRL first team honors for her work on the mound and in the batter’s box. She was part of the Wildcats 1-2 punch with senior pitcher Avery Eakin and served as one of Yates Center’s biggest bats while guiding the Wildcats to a 6-17 record.
