FORT SCOTT — Early foul trouble plagued both teams Tuesday night as Allen Community College traveled to Fort Scott to take on the Greyhounds.
The Red Devils settled their ship late in the first half, turning a two-point advantage into a 46-37 lead at intermission.
Allen made its lead stand up in the second half — thanks in large part to a zone defense — in a 87-71 win.
The victory lifts Allen to 4-1 on the year. Fort Scott falls to 0-4.
